About Me

The heart of ellabee is the founder of the brand, the Munich designer Madeleine Treuleben, who has been designing and producing high-quality leather accessories for over 25 years.
Since 2015, the Sauerland native, mother of two children, nature-loving and animal-loving designer has been incorporating her ideas and inspirations into her own company ellabee. It is her wish that the ellabee creations harmoniously underline the personal, individual touch of the wearer without being prestige objects.
Curious and attentive, she observes new trends and the current mood in society. Communicating with people from near and far is a constant source of inspiration for her – “for me, the best ideas come from conversations”. As a nature-loving person, sustainable production is extremely important to her - with the motto "less is more" she dispenses with everything superfluous in her creations - especially "artificial ingredients". In doing so, she not only pays attention to an attractive design, high quality leather, variety of colors and variety, but also the feel of her products play an important role - true to the motto: enjoy with all your senses. Stylish, cosmopolitan and fashion-conscious and with great pleasure in bright colors, she creates timeless trends.
